Things weren’t going quite as smoothly as planned, so I decided to go a little weird with the palette and experiment a little rather than write it off as a total loss. 

I’ll figure out this painting malarkey one of these days, i’m sure.

I think I am finally done with this, This one was a bit of a bear, after about 5 false starts and making every possible mistake I could have made I am definitely ready to let this one go, warts and all.

I will post a process gif soon, I just have to make it first.

Just about done on this one. Drawing on a tiny fake chalkboard is more fun than it ought to be!

So Wondercon was pretty great! Lots of nice people to speak to and mind blowing work to drool over (at a safe distance I promise). I do have a fair few people I want to link up, but I will save that for the next post.

The image is just a quick post con sketch to get back into things, I will finish this up tomorrow morning and hopefully have chance to make another one of those fancy pants gifs for the process.

On a side note, I have had a good number of messages while I have been traveling that I will get around to answering now that things have calmed down a little. Sorry for the delay!

Gah, three hours sleep followed by morning traffic in the snow is an inadvisable experience. 

Anyway, I had to do something while I ate breakfast, so I made another one of these silly gif things. Wish I could spontaneously grow a leaf cloak.

Think I am about done with this now. Might go back in and change some values with less tired eyes in the morning.
