Yet another long gap in posts to apologize for… sigh. There is a good reason I promise, I just can’t say much/anything about it at the moment.

So in order to try and keep some regular art posts happening, and also to publicly humiliate myself on a regular basis, Mike Bills ( http://michaelbills.tumblr.com/ ) and myself have started a joint blog where we both take turns coming up with a subject and both post our results. Yes I know he is going to kick my ass every time, but it should still be fun.

We are calling it http://characterscraps.tumblr.com/ and while it’s still very early days (well, day really) I hope you guys will tag along for the ride.

In other art related news, The Future is happening! The Kickstarter ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1195904626/louisville-cartoonist-society-the-future ) crossed the $2000 mark a few days ago, and I would like to thank everyone for their support and all those re-blogs.

A cover for a local anthology. I will post more about it in the Newyear, but it’s shaping up to be a pretty cool book.

Just picked up a Pentel pocket brush pen on the advice of, well everyone really. It’s going to take a while to learn how to control the brush properly, but it’s fun to use.
